MSK NEW OFFICE & LABORATORY IN ABU DHABI
MSK has established new office and laboratory in Abu Dhabi. This lab will be catering to Fertilizers from Ruwais (Saudi-UAE border) and Limestone etc from Ras Al Khaima UAE. Other than these commodities the lab will take care the analysis of Chrome, Rock Phosphate from other Middle East countries.
MSK UAE has been successfully registered as an approved independent assayer with the Government owned companies like Abu Dhabi National Oil Refineries (Takreer) & FERTIL.
KAN ACCREDITATION OF MSK INDONESIA
MSK Indonesia has been conferred with the coveted KAN (Komite Akreditasi Nasional) accreditation for ISO 17025 for its Jakarta Lab. The accreditation is valid for 4 years & meant for physical / chemical analysis of coal following ASTM Method. The entire team of MSK Indonesia put in an undaunted effort for this prestigious accreditation. Kudos!

As a part of Branding exercise MSK took a lead role in 27th International Ferro Alloys Conference in Berlin in November 2011 as Gold Sponsor. More than 700 Industry captains participated in this Conference which is considered to be the most significant meet of Ferro Alloys Fraternity. The venue was InterContinental, Berlin. As a Gold Sponsor MSK hosted the Lunch on the 1st day of the conference. MSK also arranged an exhibition stall where the details of the organization, Global presence, Services offered were presented through Monitors. The overwhelming response of the Guests from various countries across the Globe at MSK stall as well to MSK officials in person spoke about the grand success of MSK as the Lead Sponsor.
NEW LABORATORY AT SEDIBENG, POSTMASBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
MSK South Africa has been awarded with the Lab Outsourcing job at Sedibeng Iron Ore Pty Mines, Postmasburg, South Africa, for the complete Quality Control of the Iron Ore Mines. The lab was fully functional from March 1, 2012. This is the first third party testing laboratory in the Northern Cape area of South Africa, which is the hub for all Iron Ore and Manganese Ore mines.
The laboratory is equipped for doing the Iron Ore complete analysis following both Wet Chemical and XRF method. The mines production has already started and running in 3 shifts from the month of June 2012. The total production target of the mines is 3.5 Million MT in this year.

MSK INSPECTION FOR 1ST IRON ORE CAPE VESSEL OF TATA FROM SALDANAH BAY, SOUTH AFRICA
M/s Sedibeng Iron Ore Mines (Pty) Ltd., a subsidiary of Tata, did its first Iron Ore Export from Saldanah Bay Bulk Terminal to China. The total quantity loaded was 175958 MT. It is the first Cape size vessel in the history of TATA / Sedibeng and MSK is proud to be associated with this shipment both at Load Port and Discharge Port. The Bulk Terminal at Saldanah Bay is having one of the most efficient conveyor systems with Automatic Sampling and Analysis facility. The total quantity of 175958 MT was loaded in less than 20 Hrs, with a loading speed of around 9000 MT per hour.
NEW OFFICE OF MSK ENVIRONMENT & FOOD DIVISION
A new office for the Environment and Food SBU was inaugurated on 31st March 2012 at Tirupati Plaza, 74/2 AJC Bose Road, Kolkata where the operations section has been housed.
The enthusiasm of the members of the Environment and foods SBU was reflected in the neat and solemn ceremony organized by them that marked the occasion and which comprised of ‘Puja’ followed by refreshments.

PRESTIGIOUS COAL INSPECTION CONTRACT FOR MSK CHINA
China has bagged two prestigious contracts for attending coal shipments at Indonesia on behalf of 2 Chinese Clients. First one is Guangdong Power Industry Co. Ltd, which is one of the biggest Power Plant Corporation in China .Guangdong Power owns about 20 power plants in China. The second contract from Chaozhou City Yatai Energy Co., Ltd who is one of the biggest coal traders in China.
This is an excellent and noteworthy beginning of MSK china`s presence in Coal Commodity.
MSK TURKEY EXTENDS INSPECTION SERVICES TO ALBANIA
MSK Turkey Office & Lab was opened in December, 2009 in Mersin, Turkey. Since then it expanded the operational domain in MERSIN, ISKENDERUN, ANTALYA, IZMIR, GEBZE PORTS, GEMLIK, TRABZON Ports & Mining areas of KUTAHYA, BURSA, BURDUR, DENİZLİ, SİVAS, KAYSERİ, YOZGAT, K.MARAS, MALATYA, ADIYAMAN, ELAZIG, KARS, IGDIR, ALADAG, ERZINCAN with full fledged Inspection Services for all major commodities like Ferro Alloys, Chrome Ore, Manganese Ore, Iron Ore, Mill Scale, Lead Ore etc
In early 2012 MSK Turkey Team has reached neighboring country Albania & doing regular inspection job at Port Durres & other Mine areas and Warehouses in Albania to the entire satisfaction of clients. Main commodity being handled there at present is Chrome Ore.
